Thurs 17th September – Twisted Neck & Two Headed Horse
Twisted Neck are an alternative/ indie rock group based in South East London and formed at university when bonding over their love of music. Music written and composed by Tristan Gable.
Two headed horse makes music that is irrepressibly human, blending folk and rock instruments in songs that are heartfelt and explorative, with subtle hooks and overflowing emotion. They have played slots at Kendal Calling and Lakefest within a year of forming after Tim Burgess heard their single ‘Shimmer’ on BBC 6Music. They have recently played shows at The Waiting Room, The Ivy House and The Victoria (plus many more!)
Thurs 15th October – Katie Vickers
Returning to the Effra stage after their triumphant run at last years Battle of the Bands where they made it to the final stage – get ready for a night of original music and the occasional funky cover from this lively band!
Thurs 29th October – Greedy Karl
Effra’s Battle of the Bands 2025 winners are getting ready to rock out on the Effra Social stage once more! Last year they won over the crowd and beat other local bands with their energetic stage presence and rockstar energy. Get ready to rock along once again and support our reigning champs .
